Historical Home Bathroom Renovation

While planning a bathroom remodel in a historic home presents some unique design challenges, the Hammer Design Build Remodel team was ready for the challenge. The original 1930’s master bathroom design had a layout that left two small reach-in closets, a small shower and an uncomfortable tub. Our design build team developed a new bathroom design that met the family’s specific needs for their bathroom remodel and still kept the classic styling of the historic home. The new master bathroom design became much more inviting, providing a large walk-in, performance shower system (including a bench) and a jetted tub with a perfect view of the new flat panel TV. The calacutta marble, with pistachio stone inlays and borders, was designed to create a cool, classic style of that 1930’s era while subtly bringing in warmer earth tones.
