Five stars for Hammer Contractors! I had been putting off renovating my historic DC rowhouse for years and it needed some serious work. I was totally overwhelmed and didn't know where to start. Hiring Hammer was the best decision! They walked me through the process from start to finish, explained all the options, and came up with plans for me at different price points. I never felt rushed in my decision making and I really appreciated the time and attention they provided when discussing my options. During the renovation my project manager, Victor, and designers, Johanna and Rebecca, were in constant contact with me to ensure our project stayed on track and within our budget. My home now has new level flooring, a beautiful new kitchen, and an ensuite bathroom. It is unrecognizable (in the best possible way). I couldn't be more pleased with the results! In the future we plan to remodel the basement to make it a separate unit and we will definitely use Hammer!

Victor Alcantara and his team did a fantastic job leading a major home renovation project in Bethesda this year. Victor is extremely careful and diligent in his work and management of projects. He truly cares about the quality of his team's work and is always available to answer questions or address concerns. We found it very easy to work with Victor and were able to truly trust him. We would highly recommend Victor to anyone considering a home renovation project.

We found Hammer on internet searches without prior recommendations. This is a whole house rebuilt job. Hammer's design team worked with our ideas then created a plan better than what we imagined. Hammer's production team worked solid, paid attentions to details and are responsive to all concerns we encountered. We highly recommend Hammer.

Our small "water issue" job turned into a complete back of house two story renovation. Hammer did a fantastic job, and helped us get through the project as new homeowners who had no idea what we were getting in to. We had a lot of structural and framing issues that affected a lot of the trades on the job. Between managing our plumbing updates around our existing ductwork, structural updates, complete exterior update, they kept us informed of all our options and provided ways so stay on budget. Greg was always there to answer any questions, no matter the time of day. We are very appreciative of him and his team. The team went above and beyond several times to make the final product a cohesive one (ie finishing the new floor path to match the old on their dime/time). Huge thank you to him and his team.
